The Aquatic 2 Spa Ozone Generator is designed to decrease reliance on harmful chemicals in spas up to 132 gallons or 500 liters. The Aquatic 2 is maintenance free and helps maintain crystal clear water in your hot tub without the need for additional skin irritating chemicals. The unit produces 300 mg/hour of ozone gas that is introduced to the spa water through suction created by the spa injector, creating a vacuum like suction that pulls the ozone out of the unit and into your spa’s water.
Ozone generators are a common and effective way to oxidize airborne odors and remove contaminants from water. Ozone is 3,000 times more effective than bleach, making it the second most powerful oxidant in existence (deadly fluorine gas is first).
Our ozonators utilize corona discharge technology to produce ozone. When ozone gas is introduced to an environment with bacteria, mold or any other organic material, it readily donates one of the oxygen atoms to oxidize or destroy that material.
The Aquatic 2 features a universal plug-type meaning that it can be wired one way for 110v and another for 240v. The user manual provides a complete wiring diagram and instructions.
A2Z Ozone Generators produce ozone gas which is introduced to spa water through suction created by the spa injector. Tubing is used to connect the ozone generator to an injector (pictured below) The injector acts similarly to a vacuum, and pulls the ozone gas out of the Aquatic 2 and into the water.
Most spas are factory equipped with an ozone injector or vacuum port. If your spa is not, a venturi injector will need to be purchased (sold separately). We manufacture and sell our own venturi injectors from 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1.5" and 2" sizes.
